Supporting a Cause That Means the World to Us At Opulent Odds
We’re proud to announce that a portion of our profits will be donated to the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) — an incredible organization that’s personally meaningful to our team. This cause is especially close to home for Tom, one of our co-founders. In 2008, Tom’s younger brother, Matthew Heath, tragically lost his life in a motorbike accident. Ever since, Tom has dedicated himself to raising funds in Matty’s memory — organizing football tournaments, Boxing Day dips, race nights, and music events — and has raised over £60,000 to date for GNAAS.
Tom was honoured to be nominated for a Pride of Britain Award and made it to the final four in the North East of England just two years ago — a huge achievement, even though he narrowly missed out to another incredibly deserving winner.
As a team, we’ve come together to continue that legacy. Through Opulent Odds, we want to keep Matty’s memory alive while supporting a charity that works tirelessly to save lives across our region. NAAS do truly life-saving work, and with your support, we hope to raise even more — to help prevent other families from going through the pain of losing a loved one. Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support means the world — to us, to Tom, and to everyone at GNAAS.
